The Greatest Day of the Year

Ahhh Valentine's Day... my favorite day of the year.  I've never expected lavish gifts and romance on Valentine's day just something sweet from my sweetie.  And regardless, even if my sweetie doesn't come through I know my Daddy always will.  This year Eric and I decided to only spend $5.00 on each other and it was perfect! I hope you all had a perfect loved filled Valentine's Day as well!

Todd's Beer Tasting Extravaganza

So how do you celebrate a friend turning 30?  Well with a beer tasting of course!  Todd aka Magnum T.I., aka Hot Toddy, aka Tater Todd is a fabulous friend of ours and we couldn't pass up celebrating the big 30 with him!  His fabulous girlfriend Megan came up with the idea of a beer tasting and put the event together for friends.  Everyone had to bring a 6 pack of non traditional beer to the tasting.  Once the tasting began we poured the beer into Dixie cups that were labeled with a letter so the participants didn't know what they were drinking. They sampled the beer and then gave it a score along with comments.  I chose to be the DD that night so I was the one pouring and giving out the samples... it was a blast to watch the reactions of everyone when sampling the beer.  The party was a success and I believe that Todd had a fabulous birthday regardless of how old he turned.

Sawyer Edmondson

My beautiful 2nd Cousin in-law gave birth to Mr. Sawyer Edmondson on February 10th 2011 at 2:14 pm. The bundle of joy weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces and was 19 inches long.  Eric and I got to visit briefly with the family and I snapped a few quick photos.  I'm in love with this little boy already :)
