We Are The Pirates of ECU!

One of my greatest loves EVER is ECU Football!  It pretty much consumes my life during the fall.  Not only do I attend the games but I also tailgate before each game.  My husband Eric and I have a tailgating spot next to our friend's Kathryn and Terry Gore.  Most of our friends congregate at our spot for tailgating.. . Probably because we always have awesome food!!!! This season was filled with tons of fun, tons of food, and tons of alcohol. We met so many new friends and hung out with old friends.  So what if ECU didn't have the greatest record ever this season... At least we had a fabulous tailgating record :)  So now that football is over this year I wanted to post a few of my favorite shots from the season.

Gregory Strickland... The Next Player for the Atlanta Braves!

During my Holiday vacation, I had the pleasure of spending a day with my little cousin Gregory.  We hung out with Mom and ran some errands for Grandma.  At the end of the day he came home with us and brought his baseball glove with him.  I realized by the end of the day that Gregory is just a miniature Eric Messer.  He talks about sports CONSTANTLY!  Anything about any team or player he will talk to you about.. but his true love is Baseball and his favorite team... The Atlanta Braves!  Gregory and Eric went out back and played a little catch... and let me just say I was extremely impressed!

Just Like My Momma's.....

My favorite thing about the Holidays is all of the baking I get to do. I usually give my friends treats for their Christmas presents.  My favorite thing to make, and my friend's favorite thing to eat are my Momma's cheese straws.  They are pretty much amazing.  Last night I had to get all of my baking done so I could give out my gifts today at work.  So here is a little look at what the Messer household looked like last night.

Baby, It's Cold Outside...

The snow was sooooo beautiful this morning.  I immediately called my coworker/buddy Jason when I got to work and told him to grab his camera so we could shout some photos. After the snow stopped falling, I had to prepare for our work's annual Holiday Potluck Lunch.  The food was super yummy and now I'm super tired and need a super long nap.  I just love the Holidays!
